The Power of Kundalini

If you could make a wish, snap your fingers and witness transformation of your life quickly.. would you?
Most people say, “well yes of course”. But when it comes to following through on their intention they break, quickly resume behaviors out of alignment with what they wish for themselves.
Why?
Because it is easier to repeat the same comfortable habits we have all been practicing the majority of our lives. Most of us think, feel and act the same way every time, day after day, year after year. Our psychology, belief system and relationships are on autopilot.
If we seek transformation we must first become crystal clear on our intention. Then we may investigate our current thoughts, emotions, word choice and actions. Discover which behaviors are supportive of our intention and develop awareness around those that are not.
How?
Kundalini is my preferred choice.
Kundalini is an ancient yogic technology utilized to awaken Shakti, the feminine creative energy present yet latent in both men and women. Symbolized as a serpent coiled three and a half times around the Earth residing at the base of our spine, Shakti rises as she weaves around each chakra (wheel of energy). Activating our primitive energy centers Muladhara (Root Chakra), Svadhisthana (Sacral Chakra) and Manipura (Solar Plexus Chakra), expanding our Anahata (Heart Chakra) and providing liberation through ascendance through the Vishuddha (Throat Chakra), Ajna (Third Eye Chakra) and Sahasrara (Crown Chakra).

Sounds intense.. doesn’t it.
It definitely is.
Not only are the kriyas - specific prescriptions practiced while holding the body in unique degrees, while breathing in a rhythmic challenging pattern, involving chanting sacred mantras in Sanskrit - highly sensational summoning your inner will and developing your faith. But the abrupt presentation of divine orchestration of life events testing your dedication to manifestation of your intention is profound.
Here is a simple example.
My partner and I practiced a prosperity kriya together to expand our wealth. In two months, we both accepted higher paying jobs, worked less, traveled more and strengthened our intimacy.
My first experience that surprised me when learning kundalini involved practicing the simple HAR kriya for 3 minutes in a circle of women at a local yoga studio. We were advised not to practice this kriya longer than 11 minutes daily as it posed the risk of making us greedy. I was down to party.. thinking I will try anything once. Curious, but not yet convinced of any miraculous events to follow.
Then..
I discovered a check for $5,000 in the mail the next day.
Apparently, one of the retirement accounts I had invested in while working for a previous employer spontaneously issued me a check.
This is how kundalini works. It clears blocks obstructing you from living your intention. When posed with a new opportunity your choice reinforces alignment with manifestation of your wish.
Now most people don’t talk about this.. but you know I’m going to give it to you straight up.
If you practice kundalini and then make choices out of alignment with your intention, life becomes more difficult.
Duh..
Seems like simple science doesn’t it?
For example, before I accepted my new position as a locums Neurosurgery PA, I hesitated. I made a list of the pros and cons. I honestly felt afraid of such a big leap into the unknown. I had never traveled for work or worked overnights. I wasn’t sure I could do it.
Then, life became more difficult. The current job I was working at the time had a change in leadership and my call pay was held. This was the OPPOSITE of my intention. I suddenly had to work harder, we are talking 12 hour days in the operating room preforming complex spinal and cranial cases.
I had less time to practice yoga, connect with the people I love, meditate, spend time in nature and eat well.
Then I realized I needed to say yes to the new opportunity. So I did.
Everything changed. The healthcare team I work with is exceptional. I am paid more than I’ve ever made as a PA. I have time to work on business, work with clients 1:1, travel internationally, nourish my body with delicious and nutritious food and strengthen my relationships.
If I were to live out of alignment with my intention to develop prosperity while actively practicing kundalini then the universe would mirror incoherence back to me - making it more difficult.
Therefore it is absolutely essential to live in alignment with your intention. Choosing what your gut knows to be true for you, even though your monkey mind is flooded with fear of the unknown.
I believe it is important to do what scares you. Have you ever heard “The cave you fear to enter holds the treasure you seek”? - Magic by Qveen Herby
