Beginning in Trauma Neurosurgery Michelle Dellene learned the strategic approach to balancing time and energy while simultaneously working for days on end.
Taking trauma call all day and night, performing emergent brain and spine surgery, learning how to recover from sleep deprivation and promoting self optimization through development of neuroplasticity; Michelle Dellene set a solid foundation for her advancement as a Neurosurgical Physician Assistant/Associate. After personally experiencing the traumatic disease of Preeclampsia when pregnant with her first child, Michelle Dellene is unique in that she has experienced the highs and lows of allopathic medicine from the provider and patient perspective.
In the midst of a chaotic career and stressful personal life, Michelle Dellene elected to remain optimistic and cultivated the lifestyle skills to evolve, maintain resiliency and pursue self-development. Transitioning into aesthetics Michelle Dellene developed the capacity to not only heal both men and women through enhancement of their physical body but worked emotionally and mentally with clients to promote a healthy mental capacity for their own unique beauty.
Finally, accelerating Michelle Dellene's allopathic work experience she pursued a career in General Surgery. Testing her limits, working to her fullest potential Michelle Dellene expanded her surgical skills in open, laparoscopic and robotic surgeries. By healing a wide array of patients including but not limited to; breast, colon, thyroid and gallbladder cancer survivors, warriors of small bowel obstructions and diverticulitis, patients with simple complaints of small bumps and lumps to infectious processes such as cellulitis, abscesses, mastitis and chronic non-healing wounds; Michelle Dellene deepened her empathetic potential to connect one on one with suffering individuals and promoted advancement of her medical knowledge of practical healing modalities.
After become ill herself, notably exacerbated by over-working in a toxic environment, Michelle Dellene broke free from the chains of employment and birthed her business. She established a mission to "Heal the Healers" by providing an integrated, Hollistic approach to lifestyle coaching.
When she was working in surgery she developed alarming neurological signs and symptoms such as profound memory loss, poor visual acuity, decreased hearing, numbness and tingling in her hands, feet, face and tongue, a persistent low grade fever intermittently spiking up to 103 degrees Fahrenheit, coordination and balance issues, weakness in her upper and lower extremities often inducing an unintentional release of hand grip and occasional falls. She lost the ability to simply calculate addition and her mental capacity waned on a daily basis. She was overwhelmed with fatigue and disability. She could barely lift her two year old daughter without profusely sweating and experiencing tachycardia.
She begun to practice transcendental meditation for 20 minutes twice daily, despite her busy 60 hour work week. She made the time to invest in healthy fresh foods and optimize her nutrition. She started to practice yoga both vinyasa and yin to heal her body and strengthen her mind while aligning her spirit. She discovered aerial silk accidentally and pursued routine practice although it was incredibly challenging. She invested her time, attention and money into a 30 day Chakra Healing Course offered by Anodea Judith. She faced her energetic blocks and approached her fears, limiting beliefs and disability for the first time - head on - in her life.
When the COVID-19 Pandemic swept the nation, elective surgeries were placed on hold by the Surgeon General and Michelle Dellene experienced a new-found opportunity to further her eastern healing modality education. She enrolled in a 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher Course and after completion of her dissertation of The Caduceus and The Chakra System, she obtained her certification.
